Boccia, Orlando
Gates: after a courageous battle with cancer, Orlando passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at age 84. Predeceased by his wife, Pasqualina Boccia and several brothers and sisters in Italy. He is survived by his sons, Mario (Sharon) Boccia. Dominick (Katherine) Boccia of CA; grandchildren, Nicolina Boccia, Kiara (Aaron) Boccia-Fenlason of CA, Francesca Boccia of CA; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Boccia was a retiree of Delco Products. Orlando had a zest for life and a passion for wine making, as well as cooking Italian meals for his family. He was a Champion Bocce player and enjoyed exercising, especially riding his bicycle.
Friends may call SUNDAY, April 9, from 2-4PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Monday, April 10, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30AM in St, Theodore’s Church. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, c/o Lifetime Care, 3111 S. Winton Rd., Rochester, NY 14623 in his memory.
