Greece: Sunday, June 4, 2017, at age 79. Predeceased by his parents, Giovanni and Vincenza Cardinale; brothers, Gerlando and Vince Cardinale. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Antonietta Cardinale; children, John Cardinale, Zina (Darrin) Nelson, Carlo (Jillian) Cardinale, Diana (Jarrod) Lay; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Anna (Alfonso) Oliveri, Carol (Richard) Rago, Teresa (George) Giuliano of NC, Mary Cottone; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Joseph was a former owner of C & C Importers and a member of the Italian American Sports Club.
Friends may call SUNDAY from 1-6PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Monday morning, June 12, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30 in St. Theodore’s Church, 168 Spencerport Road. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to ALS Association of Upstate NY Chapter, 135 Old Cove Road, Suite 213, Liverpool, NY 13090 in his memory.
