Greece: Suddenly Tuesday October 24, 2017 at age 51. He survived by his wife of 21 years, Mary D'Elia; parents, Piero & Giovanna D'Elia; brother, George (Tina) D'Elia; mother-in-law, Patricia Northup; sisters-in-law, Debbie Marco, Gretchen Bergstresser, Jill Bergstresser & Kirsten Jansen; nephews, Peter & Anthony D'Elia, Justin Marco, Daniel Jansen; uncles & aunts, Diego & Giovanina D'Elia of Canada, Venanzio & Maddalena Tempesta of Italy, Maria Rantucci of Australia, Mario & Fosca Tempesta; many cousins & friends. He was predeceased by his cousin, Celeste D'Elia Gallaher.
Ray was a graduate of Greece Olympia HS, Class of 1984 and had been working for Xerox for the past 30 years. He was a member of the Genesee Conservation League. He also enjoyed hobbies such as bike riding and walking.
Friends may call SUNDAY from 2:00-5:00 PM at DiPonzio Funeral Home Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Monday, Oct. 30, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Rd. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
