Greece: Sunday, December 25, 2016. Predeceased by her parents, Carl and Mary Bertini; brothers, Samuel and Joseph Bertini; sister, Antoinette “Toni” DiPasquale; niece, Mary Ann Borrelli. She is survived by her husband, Karl Voelkl; children, Dawn (Eric) Burkhartzmeyer, Tom (Kerry) Sabido, Lynn Sabido; grandchildren, Anna and Molly; brothers-in-law, Arthur DiPasquale, David (Kathy) Voelkl; many nieces and nephews. Rosemary was a longtime hairdresser in the Rochester area and enjoyed cooking, baking and the casino.
No prior calling. On Thursday, December 29, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 9:30AM in St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece. Rd. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Those wishing, donations may be directed to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626 in her memory. Rosemary’s family would like to thank Dr. Manuel Matos, Dr. Timothy Woodlock (Oncology) and Dr. Jason Lyons (Pulmonary) and their staffs, as well as the staff at Unit 4300 at Unity Hospital, and friends, John and Sharon Lipari, Chet and Millie Villa, and neighbors Chuck, Sue and Marge for their loving and compassionate care.
