Gates: Friday, February 22, 2019, at age 76. Predeceased by her husband, Brian Waight; father and mother, Edwin and Viola Veltz; brothers, Richard and Ronald Veltz. She is survived by her children, Mark (Tonette) Ferrante, Brian (Penny Philmon) Ferrante, Melissa (Mark) Trau; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Diane West, Jan (John) Mark; brother, Robert (Charlene) Veltz; sisters-in-law, Paulette Veltz, Rose Veltz; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call FRIDAY from 3-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Saturday, March 2, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 9:30 in St. Theodore’s Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Alzheimer’s Assoc., 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620 in her memory. Maureen’s family would like to thank the staff at St. John’s Home, Hastings 2 Unit, as well as the staff at Lifetime Care Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
