Gates - Saturday, July 20, 2019 at age 86. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph Argento; brother, Pasquale Burgio; sister, Josephine Burgio. She is survived by her children, Charles Argento (Greg Swartz), Josephine (Gary) D'Alessandro; grandchildren, Angela & Anthony D'Alessandro; sister, Carmella Montana; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Josephine Burgio, Josephine Heimrich, Florence Tomasella, Terry Argento-Brown, Al Primo; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may call WEDNESDAY 4:00-8:00 PM at DiPonzio Funeral Home Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Thursday, July 25, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in St. Theodore's Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Alfonsa's family would like to thank all of her aides who have taken wonderful care of her during the past few years and most recently the team at Strong Memorial Hospital.
