Rochester: Passed away suddenly with her sister, Milagros Soto; brother, Anibal Gonzalez; and niece, Maira Holt in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at age 72. She is survived by her children, Maritza Mejias, Nancy Mejias, Angel Mejias, Jose Alvarez, Luz Alvarez and William Alvarez; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends. Ana was a retiree of the Rochester City School District.
Friends may call TUESDAY, August 30, from 4-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Wednesday, August 31, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 9:30AM at St. Theodore’s Church, 168 Spencerport Road. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Those wishing, donations may be directed to a charity of your choice in her memory.
