Skatell, Ann Marie “Nana” (Pittman)
Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at age 75. Predeceased by her husband, Bob Woodruff; parents, Glenn & Anne Pittman; brothers, Glenn, Eugene, & David Pittman. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Kevin) Whitmore; granddaughters, Taylor Taccone & Skylar Whitmore; great granddaughter, Isabella; sisters, Cathy (Phil) Mullen of CA, Patricia (Liz Derry) Pittman, & Debbie (Jeff) Steed; sisters-in-law, Ellen Pittman, Mary Ellen Pittman, & Carol Wendt; lifelong friend, Roco Young; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Ann, most fondly known as Nana, worked at Eastman Kodak Company and then retired from the YMCA after eight years as a childcare aide. She cared for the “twinkle of her eye”, Isabella until moving to Assisted Living at Heathwood in August of 2019. There she met wonderful friends and enjoyed hanging with the girls through Bingo and many other activities.
No prior calling. On Saturday, August 29, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 9:30 am in St. Pius X Church, 3010 Chili Avenue. Inurnment will follow at Grove Place Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heathwood Assisted Living & Memory Care, 100 Elderwood Court, Penfield, NY 14526 in her memory.
