Rochester: Suddenly on Friday, January 3, 2020, at age 59. Predeceased by his parents, Louis J., Sr. and Joanne Barbato. He is survived by his brother, Louis J. Jr. (Maria) Barbato of GA; nephews and niece, Matthew (Trevor) Barbato, Zachary (Blair) Barbato, Noah Barbato, Hannah (Kevin) Barry; dear great nephew, great nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Anthony was a 1978 graduate of Gates-Chili High School and had been currently working for Gannett Newspapers. He had a passion for music, art, photography and was an accomplished billiards player. Anthony was a thoughtful, kind and gentle soul who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Friends may call Thursday from 5-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates, where a service will follow at 7:00PM. On Friday, January 11, friends are invited to meet at 11:00AM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery inside the Dewey Ave. gate for his graveside services.
