Ogden: Friday, November 10, 2023, at age 79. Predeceased by his parents, Lorenzo & Lucia Rosato. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Loreta [Colacicco] Rosato; children, Gabriella (Todd) Dekramer, Lorenzo (Elizabeth) Rosato, and Julia (Shawn) Parker; grandchildren, Augustus Dekramer, Maria, Emma, and Gia Rosato, Eli and Sierra Parker; sisters, Elisa DiCesare, Nunziata DiCesare, and Onelia “Nellie” (Quintino) DiCesare; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Nicolina & Manuel “Eddie” DasFaias; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Tony was a plumber in Rochester and was owner of Rosato Plumbing & Heating for over 50 years. He was an active member of Holy Ghost Church. He enjoyed farming, playing the trumpet, making sausage and wine, and especially spending time with his family. He was always looking for an excuse to have a party.
Friends may call Thursday from 3:00-7:00 pm at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Friday, Nov. 17, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at Parish of the Holy Family Church (St. Jude’s Site), 4100 Lyell Road, Gates. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Lung Association ( https://www.lung.org/ ) in his memory.
