Gates: Monday, January 20, 2020, at age 77. Predeceased by her husband, Christopher E. Coleman; daughter, Valerie Coleman; parents, Peter and Jane Mitrano; brother, Peter Mitrano. She is survived by her son, Christopher Coleman (Lisa Marianetti-Scott); grandchildren, Lily and Charlie; many nephews; long-time loving friends, Angela, Annette, Becky, Mary Ann and Mary. Barbara loved her family especially Lily and Charlie more than anything else. She enjoyed making Sunday dinner, working with children, reading, the New York Yankees and her crossword puzzles. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School.
Friends may call THURSDAY from 4-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Friday, January 24, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 9:30 at St. Theodore’s Church. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Alzheimer’s Assoc., 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620 in her memory.
