Amo, Bruce A.
Ogden: Sunday, January 21, 2024, at age 76. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas J. and Henrietta Amo; great grandson, Carter Amo. He is survived by his loving wife, Janet (DiPasquale) Amo; sons, Bruce J. (Jackie) Amo, Stephen Amo; grandchildren, Brittany (Chris) Forster, Tyler (Crystal) Amo, Stephen Amo, Justin Amo; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Sofia, Addalynn and Avery; brother, Alex (Mary Ellen) Amo; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Pam DiPasquale, Donna and Allen Forrest, Debi and Sal Gerbino, Ann Fischer; godchild, Breanna Fischer; several nieces and nephews. Bruce was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a retired investigator for the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office after 30 years of service.
Friends may call SUNDAY from 1-4PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Monday, January 29, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at Parish of the Holy Family Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Gates Ambulance, 1001 Elmgrove Rd., Rochester, NY 14624 or to Special Olympics, NY, 1 Grove Street, Pittsford, NY 14534 (events.nyso.org) in his memory.
