Greece: died Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at age 96, in Georgia. Carmela was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Santangelo; brothers, Joseph and Angelo Curcio. She is survived by her sons, Michael Santangelo of Georgia, Ernest (K. Anoush) Santangelo of Syracuse, and Daniel (Stephanie) Santangelo of Utah; grandchildren Dan (Kelly) Durade, Shana (Joe) Whitehead, Aaron Santangelo, Nichole (Andy) Morris, Nicholas Santangelo, Rachel Santangelo & Michael Paul Santangelo; great grandchildren, Ashley & Tyler Hitt, Madison & Makinlee Durade, Cristian Crespo; sister, Jennie (Philip) Salamone; sister-in-law Adeline Territo; many nieces and nephews.
On Saturday, September 28, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave., Rochester, NY 14616. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care, 8013 Majors Rd., Cummings, GA 30041.
