Clinton A. Lloyd, of Rochester, NY, went to rest with Our Lord on April 10, 2020. He was born in Dublin, Ireland to the late George and Jane (Noonan) Lloyd.

Clinton was the proud owner of the Irish Import Shop for 38-years and an active member of Rochester’s Irish community. He immigrated to America in 1965 as a tailor for Hickey Freeman Company. Beloved among countless friends and acquaintances, Clinton was honored with both Irish Business Person of the Year and Grand Marshall by the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee.

He is survived by his wife Rita (Eisenhauer) Lloyd of 50-years; five children: Catherine Lloyd (Keith DeHond), Jane (Ken) Johnson, Maureen Lloyd, Patricia (Bill) Herring, & Kevin (Johanna) Lloyd; seven grandchildren: Bridget, Caitlin, Elizabeth, Zachary, Aiden, Olivia, & Natalie; three siblings in Ireland: Bernie Gaffney, George (Mary) Lloyd, and Alice (Frank) Cameron; and many friends and extended family.

A celebration of life will be scheduled for a future date. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in his name to one of the following that was close to his heart:
