Albano, Constantino “Gus”
Rochester- Monday, March 7, 2022, at age 98. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Rose Amico Albano; sisters & brother, Mary Billone, John Albano, Frances Addante, Gemma Madefferi, Linda Bianchi, Edith Manioci, & Jean Petrillo. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Cosmo Amico; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Gus was an Army Veteran of WWII and a retiree of the Greece Central School District.
Friends may call Monday only from 3:00-7:00 PM at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Tuesday, March 15, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in Holy Apostles Church (Austin St. & Lyell Ave.). Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Veteran’s Outreach Center, 447 South Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620 or Golisano Children’s Hospital, 300 East River Road, Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627 in his memory.
The family would like to thank Mary McCready ( & Chloe) for the wonderful care she had provided to Uncle Gus and Aunt Rose for these past many years.
