Dan was a big part of my life growing up- from our Pius day’s playing basketball to playing football together at AQ❗️You will be missed, brother. Read this reading shortly after hearing the news and it reminded me of you. Love ya, kiddo.

Tuesday, November 5th

Reading 1 ROM 12:5-16AB

Brothers and sisters:
We, though many, are one Body in Christ
and individually parts of one another.
Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us,
let us exercise them:
if prophecy, in proportion to the faith;
if ministry, in ministering;
if one is a teacher, in teaching;
if one exhorts, in exhortation;
if one contributes, in generosity;
if one is over others, with diligence;
if one does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

Let love be sincere;
hate what is evil,
hold on to what is good;
love one another with mutual affection;
anticipate one another in showing honor.
Do not grow slack in zeal,
be fervent in spirit,
serve the Lord.
Rejoice in hope,
endure in affliction,
persevere in prayer.
Contribute to the needs of the holy ones,
exercise hospitality.
Bless those who persecute you,
bless and do not curse them.
Rejoice with those who rejoice,
weep with those who weep.
Have the same regard for one another;
do not be haughty but associate with the lowly.

Dan was a great person and wonderful friend. It didn't matter if you saw him everyday or every now and again. He always greeted you with a wide smile and a hug! When you think of the kind of person Dan was it is hard not to shed tears. Open, honest, loving, caring and always willing to do that little bit more. I will always have my "Gotta be fair Batter" moments with Dan! We always got a chuckle out of that and it always made me smile a little more knowing that made such an impression! It seems like everytime I flew in and out of Rochester, NY Danny was there to give a hug going and a hug when I returned. I will miss those hugs greatly. A great soul lost much too young that hurts so deep. RIP Danny! You will be missed!

Dan ,
I am still very much in a state of shock over your passing. You were one of a kind , one in a million and one of the kindest , sweetest guys I have ever known. I will always remember all the fun times we had with Drew , yourself , and Dawn. I pray that you have eternal peace and that you watch down over us just as Angels do.
