Gates: David passed away in Florida on May 29, 2021. He is predeceased by his father, Thomas Attridge, and mother, Louise Attridge, who passed away on May 25, 2020. He is survived by his sisters and brother, Judy (Kevin) Russell, Timothy (Mary) Attridge, Carol (Ron Brennan) Cook; many nieces and nephews.
David was founder of Recovery Now NY and teamed up with the Town of Gates and the Gates Police Dept. to open a drop-in center for addicts and their families called Gates to Recovery.
A Memorial Mass for David and his mother, Louise will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at 9:30AM at St. Theodore’s Church, 168 Spencerport Rd. Interment, private. Those wishing, donations may be directed to Gates to Recovery, 1605 Buffalo Rd., Rochester, NY 14624 in his memory.
