East Irondequoit: Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at age 95. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph Balzano; daughters, Joan Englert and Debra Perrotta; son-in-law, Gary Fanale; parents, Domenic and Palma Marinilli; sister, Serafina (Enrico) Stracco; brother-in-law, John Centofanit. She is survived by her daughters, Geraldine Fanale, Doreen (Greg) Gawron; sons-in-law, James Englert Robert Perrotta; grandchildren, Dana (Anthony) Sullivan, Joseph Englert (fiancee, Jen DeRycke), Anthony (Michele) Fanale, Natalie (Joseph) Magliozzi, Brian (Chrissy) Perrotta, Nicholas Perrotta (Jeremy Parrigan), Kevin (Sarah) Perrotta, Dina (Jason) McCloud, Bianca (Michael) Weaver, Olivia (Wesley) Dunn; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Dona Centofanti-Peak (David Peak); brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Guido and Joyce Balzano, Mary Balzano; many nieces and nephews. Dina was born in Abruzzo, Italy and migrated to America with her family at age 9. She worked as a seamstress in Boston and later moved to Rochester in 1962 where she dedicated her life to her family.
No prior calling. On Monday, March 29, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at Peace of Christ Parish at St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in her memory.
