Agnello, Donald P. Sr.
Ontario / Webster: - Born on November 8, 1944 in Rochester to Sarah & Emanuel Agnello. Don passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 13, at age 76. He is predeceased by his parents and wife, Joanne. He is survived by his children Tracie (Mike) Farrow, Jennifer (John) Landers, Christina Klauck, Donald (Katie) Agnello Jr.; brother Sam Agnello; grandchildren, Timothy, Lauren, Sophia, James, Joanne, Dominic, Jaina, Enzo & Eilie; close friends Nancy Sylver and Michael Blandino; and a large extended family.
Don proudly served in the Rochester City Police Department for 20 years; he maintained friendships with many of his fellow officers. He was a wonderful grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and cherished all his friendships.
Friends may call on Friday, March 19, 3:00 – 8:00 pm at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Saturday, March 20, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass 9:30 am in St. Theodore Church, 168 Spencerport Road, where masks are required and social distancing protocols will be followed. Du to COVID-19 restrictions, entombment will be following at held privately.
