Gates: Peacefully on February 4, 2022, at age 94. Predeceased by her parents, Ernst and Elisabeth Hagmaier; sisters, Katrina and Elie of Friesenheim, Germany. She leaves her husband Tony of 74 years. She is survived by her children, Tony C. (Melissa) Galletto, Gary S. Galletto; grandson, Stephen A. (Nina) Galletto; granddaughters, Carrie (Brian) Lambrecht, Lisa Marie Galletto; great grandchildren, Kiersten Skinner, Juliana Galletto, Benjamin Galletto, Audriana Wilson; nephews, Michael (Ann Marie) Galletto, Ralph (Susan) Galletto, John (Sheila) Galletto, Alan Galletto, David Galletto, Charles (Laura) Sidoti; nieces, Cathy (Kurt) Jensen, Carolyn (David) Savine; nieces and nephews from Friesenheim, Germany; caregiver, Elizabeth Foran; special neighbors, Gaby (Richard) Buonocorso; many cousins and friends.
Elisabeth was a wonderful wife and caring mother. She was a German war bride and a retiree of Delco. She was thoughtful in every way and was family oriented. They were her whole life. She was a kind and giving person who had lived a full life. Our prayers will accompany her in her new journey. May God bless her and keep her is His care.
Elisabeth’s visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3-6PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Wednesday, February 9, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at Parish of the Holy Family Church (St. Jude’s), 4100 Lyell Rd. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in her memory.
