Pittsford: passed away peacefully, of natural causes on April 30, 2020, at age 96, at her daughter and son-in-law’s home in New Port Richey, Florida. Predeceased by her husband Samuel “Sam” Polizzi; her parents, Nick and Antoinette Giancursio; sisters, Antoinette Giancursio, Grace Kress, Helen Ciminelli and Rose "Violet" Randazzo; brothers Joseph and Vincent Giancursio. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Annette Polizzi and James Verna of Brighton, NY, Joyce Polizzi and Barry Karpel of New Port Richey FL; brother-in-law, Vincent Randazzo; several nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Betty loved entertaining, cooking, baking and running her business of 45 years, Dewey Fish. Her contagious smile, positive attitude and encouraging words will always be remembered.
On Saturday, August 21, 2021, friends are invited to attend her Memorial Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 601 Edgewood Avenue.
