Gates: Sunday, January 1, 2023, at age 93. Predeceased by his wife, Anna Marie Catone; father, Salvatore Augustine; mother and stepfather, Mary and Peter Catone; brothers, Peter Catone and Thomas Catone. He is survived by his children, Ronald Catone of FL, Janice (Paul) Bartz; grandchildren, Nicole (Josh) Jenny, Christopher Catone (Sallie) of OR, Jeffrey Pyles (Rebecca Hinds), Kristen (Jacob) Massey; great grandchildren, McKaleigh, J.J., Jeffrey Jr., Lillyana, Jacob, Zachary, Lucia and Violet; sister-in-law, Jean Catone; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Catone was a retiree from the United States Army and County of Monroe. He was a member of the Eagles Club, Gates Amita Club and Gates Seniors Club.
No prior calling. On Wednesday, January 11, 2023, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30AM at St. Theodore’s Church, 168 Spencerport Road. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in his memory.
