Gates/Chili: Suddenly, Thursday, September 24, 2020 at age 91. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph D. DiPonzio; great granddaughter, Lillyan Waeghe; brothers, Joseph and James LaDelia; sisters, Bennette Weren and Jean Pelliccia. She is survived by her children, Gemma (Martin) Farcella, Betty Ann DiPonzio (Paula Spinelli), Joseph D. Jr. (Deborah) DiPonzio, and Thomas DiPonzio; daughter-in-law, Anna Morello; grandchildren, Jessica (John) Elmore, Melissa (Seth) Martino, Michael DiPonzio, Paul (Caitlin) DiPonzio, Anthony DiPonzio (Dani Letourneau), Krystin (Lucas) Waeghe, Melanie DiPonzio (Max Buff),and Vincent DiPonzio; great grandchildren, Alyssa & Anthony Elmore, Riley Waeghe, Anthony DiPonzio, and Luca DiPonzio; brother, Richard (Nelda) LaDelia; sister Carol Ann (Chris) White; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Fran was a member of Gates Amita Club, Gates Seniors Club, and the Eagles Club. She was a retiree of the Rochester City School District as a Bus Monitor.
No Prior Calling. On Tuesday, September 29, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in St. Theodore Church, 168 Spencerport Road, Gates. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
