Chili: Monday, December 18, 2023, at age 87. Predeceased by two brothers and one sister in Italy. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Gerarda (Grande) Tantalo; daughters, Maria (Giuseppe) Meli, Sabina Tantalo; grandchildren, Carmelo, Gabrielle and Jonathan Meli; sisters, Jessie Tantalo, Francesca Tantalo of Italy; brother, Michael (Josephine) Tantalo; sister-in-law, Preziosa Bianchi of Canada; many loving and caring nieces and nephews. Mr. Tantalo was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co.
Friends may call FRIDAY from 4-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Saturday, December 23, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Pius X Church, 3010 Chili Ave. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to National Kidney Foundation, 1344 University Ave., #270, Rochester, NY 14607 in his memory.
