Santos, Gordon A. “Gordy”
Irondequoit: Friday, June 3, 2022, at age 62. Predeceased by his parents, Victor & Joyce Santos; friend, Tommy Johns. He is survived by his loving companion of 34 years, Cyndi Mauro; sister, Vicki (Dan) Banas of MA; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, John & Carol Secash; nephews, Zach (Katelynn) and Nate (Helene Paquay) Banas, David, Matthew, and Chris (Megan) Secash; great nephew, Leo Secash; dear friends, Mike & Linda Mazzeo and Marc & Anne Iacona; many cousins, dear neighbors, friends, and Buster.
Gordy was a graduate of R.I.T. and was owner of Gordy’s Sunoco on East Ave.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11, from 1:00-5:00 PM at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. His Memorial Service will follow at 5:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450, or Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY 14626 in his memory.
A special thanks to Unity Hospital E.D. and the 2700 Unit as well as Hildebrandt for the wonderful care given to Gordy.
