Greece: Our beloved mother, Isabel Marie (Amerose) Marcucci, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at age 87. She is predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Anthony Marcucci, who passed away on January 15, 2021; her parents, Edward and Dorothy Amerose; and her King Charles dog and best friend, Coco. She is survived by her daughters, Geraldine (Joseph) Wattie and Lorraine (Robert) Rexo; sons, Richard (Tammy) Marcucci and Andrew (Kelly) Marcucci; grandchildren, James Wattie, Joey Wattie, Jennifer Wattie, Erik Rexo, Natalie Ford, Alex Rexo, Thomas Marcucci, Jenna Buckley, Nicholas Marcucci, Krista Marcucci, and Michael Marcucci; 22 great grandchildren; nephews, Armand Marcucci, Vince LoCastro and Jack LoCastro; nieces, Kathy Griffin, Pat Froleicher and Stephanie George, and many dear friends, in particular, Pat Meredith.
Isabel was a devout Catholic having served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Lawrence Church, Rochester, NY for a number of years. She was an avid animal lover and had many canine friends throughout her lifetime. Our mother loved life. She was a proud American who loved this country. She enjoyed music, gardening, traveling, and most of all she loved and cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be remembered mostly for her deep love of family, sense of humor, and generosity.
Friends may call FRIDAY, March 5, 2021, from 3-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Saturday, March 6, 2021, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece Rd. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450 in her memory. Our family would like to thank Josie and Margaret for their outstanding and compassionate care of our mother over the last few years.
