Faiello. John J. “Ace”
Greece: Was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at age 95 surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his loving wife of 69 years, Alice (DiPilato) Faiello. He is survived by his children, Donna Alexander, Fran (Don) Hicks, Lucretia (Gary) Sanders, John Faiello, Renee Faiello; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; large extended family and lifetime friends. He proudly served during WWII in Pearl Harbor and Iwo Jima. He will be remembered for strength of character, his patriotism, his humor that was accompanied by song and dance, and most of all his loyalty to family and friends. Special thanks to Colin Robinson of UR Hospice for his tender care and bond during his illness.
Friends may call SUNDAY from 1-4PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Monday, December 21, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at St. Mark’s Church, 54 Kuhn Rd. Private interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516 (www.woundedwarriorproject.org) or to Patriot Guard Riders.
