Gates: Suddenly, Saturday, February 13, 2021 at age 40. Predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Gene and Pauline Bovenzi; maternal grandparents, James and Betty Berry; godmother, Peggy Masi. He is survived by his daughters, Tatiana and Paulina Bovenzi; their mother, Michelle Guthrie; stepdaughter, Alexandra Neu; parents, Bette and Gene Bovenzi; brother, James (Stephanie) Bovenzi; nephews and niece, Dante, Patience, and Ewan Bovenzi; girlfriend, Brianna Emens; uncles and aunts, Ken Masi, Jim Fegan, Daniel and Theresa Berry, Michael Berry, Ann Adamus, Linda and Jim Gorton, Kathy Bovenzi and Paula McGinnis; great aunts and great uncles, Ann Leckinger, Robert Campbell, and Lena Buonemani; godfather, Michael Follet; many cousins and dear friends.
Joe was a 1999 graduate of Spencerport High School. He had worked at General Motors and St. Joseph’s Villa.
Friends may call FRIDAY only from 3:00-7:00 PM at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Saturday, Feb. 20, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM at St. Theodore’s Church, 168 Spencerport Road. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450 in his memory.
