Gates: Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at age 88. Predeceased by her husband, Leonard J. “Jack” Polizzi; son, Leonard Polizzi, III; parents, Paul and Rena. She is survived by her children, Michael (Terry) Polizzi, Paul Polizzi, Joseph Polizzi, Lisa (Leonard) Palmieri; daughter-in-law, Julie Polizzi grandchildren, Amanda (Carlos) Diaz, Camille (Willie) Foster, Natalie (Jeremy) Tillet, Paul Polizzi, Jr., Anthony (Mariah) Polizzi, Brittany Polizzi, Dominic Polizzi, Leonard Palmieri, Giavanna (Andre) Leone, Sofia Palmieri; great grandchildren, Mya, Will, Lena, Eladio, Luca, Isabella, Nico and Mateo; sisters, Jackie Mann, Angelina Brixius; brother, Larry Byam; sister-in-law, Rosalind Kornbau (Pat Walsh) many nieces, nephews and several relatives in California. Mrs. Polizzi was a member of the Gates Amita Club.
Friends may call TUESDAY from 4-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport, Gates. On Wednesday, January 10, 2024, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at Parish of the Holy Family Church 4100 Lyell Rd. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Sisters of St. Joseph, 150 French Rd., Rochester, NY 14618 in her memory.
