Crewe, Lawrence G. “Irish”
Gates: Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at age 81. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Lou (Wheater) Crewe; children, Laurie Ducatte of NC, Robert Crewe (Karishma Ramani), Teresa Crewe; grandchildren, Chelsea (Andrew) Jones, Tiffani Crewe, Caitlin Ducatte, Tyler and Devin Sperino and a great grandson due in May; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Genevieve Crewe of NC, James and JoAnn Wheater of SC; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Crewe was a retiree of Bausch & Lomb and an Army Veteran. He had a passion for his family, golf, bowling and baseball.
Friends may call Monday, February 22, from 4-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Tuesday morning, Feb. 23, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to American Heart Assoc., PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 in his memory.
