Churchville/Chili: Saturday, March 4, 2023, at age 94. Predeceased by her husbands, Michael Pusateri and Leonard Austin; brothers, Louie & John O’Geen; stepson, Grant (Kathleen) Austin. She is survived by her children, J. Michael (Diane) Pusateri, John Pusateri, MaryAnne Pusateri, & Daniel (Deborah) Pusateri; stepsons, Andy, Trent (Sally), Dwight, Leonard (Janet), & Edward Austin; grandchildren, Brean, Ronnie, Nicholas, Miranda, Danielle, Jessica, A.J., Kevin, Evan, & Drizzle; great granddaughters, Logan, Hailey, Brooke, & Harper; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Lena was born in San Diego, California in 1928. Her mother became ill, requiring her to spend her early years in a children’s home. Lena graduated from LeRoy High School in 1948, then worked in the Jell-O factory in LeRoy while starting her family. After moving the family to Chili in 1967, she worked at Kodak, making many lifelong friends. Lena loved to laugh, joke, and have a great time! Please say a prayer, remember a happy memory, and have a smile for her.
No prior calling. On Friday, March 10, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am in Parish of the Holy Family (St. Jude), 4100 Lyell Road. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Verona Street Animal Shelter, 184 Verona St., Rochester, NY 14608 (https://vsas.jemcdev.com/donate/ ) in her memory.
