Greece: Monday, September 23, 2019, at age 79. Predeceased by his parents, Bart and Antoinette D’Ambra; brothers, Frank and Anthony D’Ambra. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Ann (Simeone) D’Ambra; daughters, Janine (Anthony) DiVasta, René (Dennis) Burns; grandsons, Nicholas and Anthony DiVasta, Jonathan and Shaun Burns; brother, Richard D’Ambra; sisters-in-law, Janet D’Ambra, Florence (Arthur) Wittman, Fran Simeone Lippa (Ron); aunt, Frances DiNottia; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Leo was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the casino. He was a self-employed general contractor and later retired from the Greece Central School District Transportation Dept.
Friends may call SATURDAY, September 28, from 2-5PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates, where his funeral service will follow at 5:00PM. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, c/o Lifetime Care, 3111 S. Winton Rd., Rochester, NY 14623 in his memory.
