Obituary for Leonardo Pagani

Pagani, Leonard
Rochester, NY: Age 92, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
Leonardo was born on September 18, 1928, in Priverno, Italy. He immigrated to the United States when he was 26 years old where he found love, built a business, and raised a loving family.
Lenny was a kind and caring person who put family first. His life embodied the qualities of the generations of immigrants who built our country; a sense of honor, self-reliance, integrity, and hard-work. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often spoke of. He was proud of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Anyone who knew Lenny knew that he was the most loving father, husband and papa a family could ask for. He always had a story to share about life in Italy whether it was being captured by Nazis for a day or being chased up a tree by guard dogs. He loved gardening, was an avid Lazio fan, and grew to be a passionate cook making favorite family recipes for Sunday lunch.
Lenny was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Maria Pia Pagani; his parents, Giuseppa and Nunzio Pagani; siblings, Maria and Vincenzo Pagani. He is survived by his children, Maria [Dave] Wiegand, Nancy [Rick] Schake, Dominic [Nikki] Pagani, Josephine Pagani, and Lisa [Joe] Davis; grandchildren, Hannah [Cory] Kruger, Elizabeth [Matt} Sanderson, Matthew [Rachel] Pagani, Travis Schake, David Wiegand, Aaron, & Lea Pagani; great grandchildren, Levi and Evelyn Kruger; brother, Manfredo [Louisa] Pagani; sister-in-law, Maria Maiola; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
We love you and miss you Dad, but find comfort knowing you are with Mom resting in peace.
