Spencerport: Friday, July 23, 2021, at age 87, formerly of Webster, went home to be with the Lord after a battle with lung cancer. Predeceased by her husband, Walter N. Roman; father and mother, William and Vincenza Yoffredo; sister, Rose-Marie Goodrich. She is survived by her children, Walter W. (Christina) Roman, Amy Vallone, Glenn Roman; grandchildren, Walter N. Roman, Michael A. Roman, Sara Roman, Chelsea (Michael) DiBella, Amanda Vallone. “Lil” had devout faith in the Lord and the Church and was a fun-loving person who cared about others and was always there to support her family. She loved animals and especially her dog Chloe.
Friends may call TUESDAY from 4-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Wednesday, July 28, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:30AM at St. John Evangelist Church of Spencerport (Amity St.). Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be directed to UR Home Care-Hospice, 2180 Empire Blvd, Webster, NY 14580 in her memory for their tremendous support during such a difficult time.
