Abbate, Maria “Lisa”
Gates: Saturday, March 11, 2023, at age 83. Predeceased by her parents, Eduardo and Giustina Fraraccio. She is survived by her son, Giuseppe “Joe” (Pamela) Abbate; grandchildren, Zachary, Gianni and Giuliana Abbate; sisters, Assunta Antonitti, Lucia (Victor) DiRe; brother, Antonio (Immacolata) Fraraccio; many nieces and nephews. Maria was a member of the Gates Amita Club, St. Theodore’s Church Rosary and Altar Society and a retiree of Gates-Chili Central Schools.
Friends may call THURSDAY from 4-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Friday, March 17, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11:15AM at St. Theodore’s Church. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
