North Chili: With sadness, Mary’s family announces her passing on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at age 82. Mary is survived by her faithful and loving husband of 60 years, Edward R. DiPonzio; her children, Edward (Aileen) DiPonzio, Kathleen (Andrew) Raniewicz, Karen DiPonzio; grandchildren, David (Ariana) DiPonzio, Amanda DiPonzio, Alyssa Raniewicz, Alexis Raniewicz; three great-granddaughters, Angelina, Sophia and Isabella; sister, Frances Vito; sisters-in-law Lori Vito and Florence DiPonzio; brother-in-law Salvatore Magliozzi; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Mary and Guy Vito, and brother, Guy Vito.
Mary lived life with faith in God, positivity, laughter, and a deep love for her family. A mass celebrating her will be held at St. Christopher Church on Wednesday, June 2, at 10:30AM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to St. Christopher’s Church, 3350 Union Street, North Chili, 14514.
