Mary F. Trippe peacefully joined her beloved husband and family members in heaven on
Saturday, November 12, 2022, at age 93. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald
Trippe. She is survived by her dedicated children, daughter Patricia Scharett & son Joseph
(Danielle) Scharett. Her feisty spirit will be carried on by her heart & soul Granddaughters,
Kristina (Joe) Mamott, Alicia (Geoff) Simmonds, Carrie (Jarryd) Eberts, and Morgan (Corey)
Anderson ; Her Great- Grandchildren Liam, Kessa, Joey, Jameson, Luke, Lila, & Finely - all
whom were her most treasured loves. Her sister, Ro Forest, whom she shared many adventures
with, her very special nephew Patrick Welch and many adored nieces and nephews.
Mary was one of 13 kids, who enjoyed being surrounded by family, playing bingo, baking her
famous blueberry muffins, vacationing and shell searching in her paradise, Siesta Key. Mary
was proud of being her families matriarch and dedicated her life to them. Her favorite title was
Grammy, and was known by many for her encompassing hugs. She will be remembered for her
generosity, the kids she has raised and took everyone in as her own. Mary will be terribly
missed by all who loved her, but the lessons she taught, the hearts that she’s comforted,
memories she has created for each of us and feisty spirit will live on forever in our hearts.
Calling hours are Monday, November 21, from 4-7pm at DiPonzio Funeral Home. Tuesday,
November 22, Mass at St. Rita’s Church at 12:30pm with interment at Webster Rural Cemetery
where all are invited to attend.
