Obituary for Nancy J. Errico (Remington)
Passed away peacefully in her home in Cocoa Beach, Florida, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, on her 66th wedding anniversary at age 85. Predeceased by her grandson, Daniel Errico, IV; brother, Jack Remington; sister, Carol Gillette. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Errico, Jr.; children, Darlene (Paul) Newmark of GA, Daniel III (Margaret) Errico of FL, Suzanne (Ed) Heindl; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren whom she adored; brother, Walter “Chuck” Remington; sister-in-law, Louise Liberman; many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was happiest when she was entertaining and spending time with family and friends. One of her proudest accomplishments was returning to college when her four children were school age and receiving her Masters degree in teaching. She retired after 20 years as an elementary school teacher at Hilton Central Schools. She served as president of Stafford Country Club Women’s Golf Assoc., Cocoa Beach Women’s Golf Assoc and 2100 Towers Homeowners Assoc. Nancy was an avid golfer, bridge player and a talented painter. She was a treasured wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Friends may call Saturday, January 12, from 11:00AM to 12:00 Noon at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates., where her funeral services will follow at 12:00 Noon. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
