Gates: Monday, December 23, 2019, at age 84. Predeceased by his father and mother, Salvatore and Josephine DeRosa. He is survived by his loving partner, Theresa “Teddi” DeRosa; children, Samuel (Sandy Maluta) DeRosa, Alfred (Irene Bennett) DeRosa, Jean Marie (Dennis) Long, Suzanne Camarata, Joseph Manigrossa; grandchildren, Samuel (Kimberly) DeRosa, Nicole (William) Skutul, Jennifer Brown (fiancé, Tom Lotz), Sarah (Mario) Reto, Tara DeRosa, Samuel (Erin) Camarata, Joelle Camarata, Jaide Manigrossa; great grandchildren, Ethan, Zachary, Addison, Billy, Jacob, A.J., and Ely; many cousins and friends. Nick served in the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and Eastman Kodak Co. security.
Friends may call MONDAY, December 30, from 3-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Tuesday, December 31, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. John Evangelist Church of Greece, 2400 W. Ridge Rd. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Lipson Cancer Center, 1425 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621 in his memory. Nick’s family would like to thank Dr. Maria Sbenge and the staff at the Lipson Cancer Center for their loving and compassionate care.
