Gates; Friday, October 16, 2020 at age 79. Predeceased by his wife Loreen Danno Gruttadauria; daughter, Alise; parents, Michael & Mary Jane; sister-in-law, Sharon Caffaro. He is survived by his sons, Todd (Cindy), Mike (Elise), and Phil (Nicole) Gruttadauria; grandchildren, Rocky (Marisa), Alexei, Dominic, Lea, Alina, Gino, Andrianna, and Roman Gruttadauria; sister and brothers, Gail (Dennis) Swetz, Michael (Donna) Gruttadauria, Martin Gruttadauria; brothers-in-law & sister-in-law, William & Kathy Danno, Robert Caffaro; dear cousin, Louis Polizzi; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Phil was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co., a member of the Caltanissetta Society, inductee to the Edgerton Park Hall of Fame, a member of the Elite Special Effects Kodak Softball Team, an usher at Blue Cross Arena (Local B-90), and an avid Yankee, Fighting Irish, NY Giants and Boston Bruins fan.
No prior calling. On Tuesday, October 20, all are invited to attend his Memorial Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in St. Theodore Church, 168 Spencerport Road. Entombment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association or American Lung Association in his memory.
