LoMaglio, Philip

Gates: died suddenly July 12, 2019, at age 61. Preceded in death by parents, Louis and Viola LoMaglio and brother Peter LoMaglio. He is survived by beloved son, Brenden (Jane) LoMaglio; grandsons, Daniel, Robert and Oliver LoMaglio; step son Damon (Andrea) Plumeri; grandchildren Angelo and Gabriella Plumeri; brother, Paul (Nancy) LoMaglio of Chicago ;sister-in-law, Genevieve LoMaglio; partner Carolyn Langelotti; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A self taught herpetologist and ornithologist, Phil was frequently seen with his pet Macaw, Sam, riding on his shoulders. Phil and Sam visited hospitals and retirement homes to entertain the sick and the elderly. With his gift of total recall and storytelling, he would entertain his family at gatherings. It is this generosity of spirit and love of laughter that will be missed most.

Nelson and I are so sorry. We loved it when you came over and entertained everyone with Sam who adored you and you adored him. We are praying that you found peace and you're with your parents and Peter. RIP, Debbie and Nelson.

I have many memories of you but the funniest one is after a night at city lights. We, or I needed to go to Wegmans. This lady, not so much a lady, needed a ride. She was begging us as she was eating chicken wings and it was all over her face. We said what the heck. She tells us Ave D. You kept a close eye as I drove. Then she wanted to do us both at the same time, what?!?! Oh for only $20. We kept saying no and she kept telling us how good she was. We always had so much fun together. You were a great friend.
I’m sorry if my memory is inappropriate, but we laughed for weeks. I’m sorry we didn’t keep in touch after our marriages. 💔 RIP Philster.
