Vito, Ralph “Grumpy”
Gates: Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at age 86. Predeceased by his son, Frank Vito; brothers, George, John and Bernie Vito; sisters, Gilda Barone, Mary Vito and Agnes Casilio. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Toni (Vetere) Vito; children, Ralph II (Rita) Vito, Maritrese Vito (Mark Palumbo); grandchildren, Joseph and Nicholas Vito, Alyssa and Michael Monti; sister, Carol Ann Stafford; special nephew, John (Terry) Dell’Anno; many nieces and nephews. Ralph was a member of the Caltanisetta Society and a retiree of the Rochester City School District.
Friends may call SUNDAY from 4-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Monday, June 24, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30AM at St. Theodore’s Church. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Golisano Children’s Hospital, 300 East River Rd., PO Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627-0032 in his memory. Ralph’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Kessler Family Trauma ICU at Strong Memorial Hospital for their loving and compassionate care.
