Gates: Saturday, November 11, 2023, at age 85. Predeceased by his parents, Patsy and Pauline DiMarco; brother, Robert DiMarco. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Ellen (Cerra) DiMarco; children, Scott (Julie) DiMarco, Alysia (Chuck) Chapin, Richard (Jennifer) DiMarco of VA; grandchildren, Hannah, Olivia and Madeline DiMarco, Sarah, Lauren and Charlie Chapin, Joshua and Samuel DiMarco; brother, Patrick (Mary) DiMarco; sister, Kathy (Alan) Costa; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gail DiMarco, Donald and Sandy Cerra, Nancy and Frank Carra; many nieces and nephews. Dick was a retired police lieutenant from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and an Air Force Veteran.
Friends may call FRIDAY from 4-8PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Saturday, November 18, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at Parish of the Holy Family Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Those wishing, donations may be directed to Parish of the Holy Family Church, 4100 Lyell Rd., Rochester, NY 14606 in his memory.
