Hilton: Thursday, April 8, 2021, at age 72. Predeceased by his mother and stepfather, Catherine and Russell Seaver; father, William Harvey; infant twin sisters, Carolyn and Catherine Harvey. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Gail Harvey; daughter, Mindy Gail Harvey; brothers and sisters, William Harvey, Robert Harvey, Darlene Woods, Debora Mills and John Seaver; many nieces and nephews.
Richard graduated from Owego Free Academy in 1966. He served in the United States Navy from 1970-1978 during the Vietnam War where he served on the Coral Sea and ended his Naval career on the Aircraft Carrier Nimitz. He had worked for 15 years at Eastman Kodak Company where he was known as “Whistling Dick” and later worked for Frontier Communications for 15 years.
There are no calling hours. Services and interment are private.
