Gates: Suddenly, Thursday, March 23, 2023, at age 80. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Elizabeth Horne: children, Marie (Michael) Donoghue, Alisa (Kenneth) Koban, Robert N. (Michelle) Horne, and John Horne(Bree Chesis); grandchildren, Kenneth Koban(Kristen Weed), Kelsey (Michael) Chamberlin, Tyler (Patricia) Koban, Taylor (Michael) Stevens, Brenna Donoghue(Cody Mosher), Makayla Horne, Alexandra Horne, and Hunter Horne; great granddaughter, Olivia Chamberlin; brother & sister, William Horne & Linda Horne; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Marie & Nicola Elia; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Bob was an avid Classic Car enthusiast. He was currently working at the Gates-Chili Central School District Transportation Department.
Friends may call Monday 4:00-7:00 PM at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Tuesday, March 28, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in St. Theodore Church, 168 Spencerport Road. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450 in his memory.
