Woolston, Robert “Bobby”
Gates: of heart failure on Sunday, January 12, 2020, at age 31. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Nancie Kane and Ric Mintz; father, Lee “Charlie” Woolston; sister, Megan Mulligan; brother, Kyle Woolston; stepbrother, Cory (Stephanie) Mintz; stepsister, McKenzie Mintz; grandparents, Sue and Bill Rohlin; niece, Mackenzie Cheshire; nephew, Brody Shallenberger; girlfriend, Tyler Airey; beloved dog, Melo; several aunts, uncles and cousins; many loving special friends. Bobby was in many sports leagues, had a heart of gold, a contagious sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held on the day of his birth. Family and friends are invited to Mendon Golf Club, 226 Mendon Ionia Rd. (Route 64), Mendon, on February 7, 2020, from 4-7PM. Bobby’s family is starting a foundation in his name called “Bobby’s Heart”, a cause for PAWS to provide therapy dogs to those in need. Please send donations via paypal to Bobbysheartacfp@gmail.com.
