Gates: Saturday, August 3, 2019, at age 81. Predeceased by her husband, Antonio DiLettera; grandson, Lorenzo DiLettera; sister, Amelia Lazazzero. She is survived by her sons, Frank DiLettera, Anthony (Fanny) DiLettera; grandchildren, Dominic and Adrianna; sisters and brothers, Rita Capaccio, Tony Zona, Claudia (Robert) Panczyk, Bill Zona, Gloria Zona; brother-in-law, Battista DiLettera of Italy; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. DiLettera was a member of the Gates Amita Club, the Father Beatini Choir, the Gruppo Folcoristico of the Italian American Community Center, and was a retiree of General Motors. She enjoyed spending winters in West Palm Beach, FL with her husband, Antonio, and many of their friends.
Friends may call THURSDAY from 4-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Friday morning, August 9, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 9:30 at St. Theodore’s Church. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Wilmot Cancer Institute, 300 East River Rd., PO Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627 in her memory. Rosa’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Wilmot Cancer Center, especially the staff at the Infusion Center, for their loving and compassionate care.
