Pittsford: went home to be with the Lord, December 10, 2019, after a long battle with Alzeimer’s disease. Predeceased by her “Mr. Wonderful”, Chester J Palozzi; son, Rocky Benedetto, and mother, Mary Salimano. She is survived by her loving children, Rick (Lisa) Benedetto, Randy (Nancy) Benedetto, Renee (Lorie) Palozzi, John (Michelle) Palozzi; daughter in law, Michelle Benedetto; 11 loving grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; devoted sister and best friend, Marie Bianchi; special “zia” Carmela “Tubby” (Joe) Dimaria; special friend, Louis “Sonny” Civiletti; sisters in law, Loretta (Thomas) Zambuto, Angela Coffaro, Jennie (Charles) DeBree, and Barbara Vito. She is also survived by many, many, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends. A special thank you to all caretakers at Unity Cottage 300 for their amazing care of our mom.
On Tuesday, December 17, her family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00AM at Calvary Chapel Westside, 2407 Union St., Spencerport, where her Funeral Services will follow at 10:00AM. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Bivona Child Advocacy Center, 1 Mt Hope Ave. Rochester, NY 14620, in her memory.
