Gates: Monday, December 18, 2023, at age 81. Predeceased by his parents, Paul and Felicia Butera. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Jane E. Butera. Daughter, Melissa Butera; stepdaughters, Debbie (Jim) Maier and Mary Jane (Dan) Maier; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Mary Jo (Carmen) Cordaro; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and “The Boys” at the Barber Shop.
Sam was a Barber in the Sea Breeze area for over 50 years.
No Prior Calling. On Friday, December 22, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Parish of the Holy Family (St. Jude’s Site), 4100 Lyell Road, Gates. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450 (lollypop.org) in his memory.
