Agnello, Samuel J.
Gates: Thursday, September 28, 2023, at age 82. Predeceased by his wife, Grace (Noto) Agnello; parents, Emanuel and Sarah Agnello; brother, Donald Agnello. He is survived by his children, Joanna (Rick) Drexel, Peter (Maria) Agnello, Jeanine Agnello; grandchildren, Nicole, A.J., Amanda and Jason Drexel, Daniella and Peter Agnello; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Peter and Elaine Noto; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Agnello was a retired firefighter from the County of Monroe. He enjoyed being with family and friends and will be missed by all.
Friends may call WEDNESDAY from 4-8PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Thursday, October 5, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30AM at St. Theodore’s Church, 168 Spencerport Road. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The courtesy of no flowers is appreciated. Sam’s family would like to thank his caregivers especially Dr. Michael Herbowy and his aides, Ericka and Kim, as well as the staff at Strong Memorial Hospital Trauma Center and Palliative Care Unit for their loving and compassionate care.
